Narlugas?!

A pod of beluga whales that has been observed since 2016 has adopted a 12 year old male narwhal who is sexually mature. Researchers are monitoring the pod to see if the narwhal will mate with a female beluga and produce one of the extremely rare Narluga Calves. It is unknown if thee narwhal has the same vocalizations of the belugas, but the narwhal seems to be fitting in very well and is treated as a part of the pod.
