Grey Seals Clap?!

mmrtcanes

There is new footage of breeding grey seals clapping underwater to communicate with others. Ben Burville was able to catch this on film while diving near Farne Islands, UK. It took 17 years to get this behavior on video. The seals clap at each other to warm off competitors and to attract potential mates. They clap just like humans with their forelimbs.
